Partnering With Davin Racing
Classic Artists Today, LLC (CAT) and Davin Racing have announced a
partnership for media placement and entertainment/hospitality services,
eff
ective
immediately. The partnership calls for CAT to provide music programming
to Davin Racing at all racing events throughout the year. Davin Racing
will display the Classic Artists Today© logo on their racing car and
related racing equipment.
Classic Artists Today© is a weekly syndicated radio show that is
broadcast 25 times a week in the US, UK and Caribbean by radio
affiliates. The CAT features “new” songs by “classic” rock, pop and soul
bands and performers. “We feel that teaming with Davin Racing within the
racing
industry provides a unique niche that reaches out to the audience that
we’re trying to connect with,” states R.K. White, CAT’s managing

In 2011, Davin Racing is participating in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car
Series. “Classic Artists Today provides us and our sponsors with high
quality music entertainment during racing events – the type of music
that executives have grown to love,” said Edd Davin.
Davin Racing and Petron International Extend Sponsorship Program
Davin Racing and Petron International are pleased to announce Petron
Products continued sponsorship of Davin Racing’s Rolex Series program
for the 2011 race season.
2011
marks the sixteenth year Petron International has been a sponsor of
Davin Racing’s motorsports activities. As part of their continued
involvement with Davin Racing, Petron International has introduced a new
after market automotive warranty program for their customers through
“Auto Assurance”. Auto Dealers and Repair Facilities through out the
United States and Canada are now providing after market auto warranties
for Petron Products/Auto Assurance customers adding coverage of vehicles
for an additional 100,000 miles and five years for any vehicle with less
than 150,000 miles currently on their odometer. Customers may contact
their auto dealers or repair facility for additional information
concerning this warranty program and Petron Products.
Davin Racing’s Crawford/Chevrolet Nears Completion
Davin Racing’s Crawford/Chevrolet entry for the 2011 Grand-Am Rolex Series Presented by Crown Royal Cask No.16 is nearing completion. We are very please to be working with Max Crawford and his organization. Edd Davin and Elliot Forbs Robinson (EFR) are looking forward to starting an extensive testing program prior to joining the Rolex Series in the next few weeks. Fans and sponsors are very excited about this program and can’t wait to see the car on track.
Edd Davin Receives Pilot License
During the break between the 2008 and 2009 racing seasons Edd completed
a long time desire to become a licensed airplane pilot. With the help of
flight instructors Greg Loughran and Andy Johnson Edd began taking
flying lessons on September 3. On December 23, 2008 Edd successfully
completed his check ride and FAA requirements and received his pilot
license. After receiving his wings Edd said “This has been one of the
most rewarding experiences of my life. It is hard to put into words how
peaceful and calm you feel at 10,000 feet and look back at the earth;
you just don’t want to land. I look forward to many new adventures in
the sky and will certainly appreciate saving time commuting to and from
race events.”
