GRAND-AM ROLEX SERIES PRESENTED BY CROWN ROYAL CASK NO. 16 DAYTONA PROTOTYPE TEAM, RACING FOR CANCER RESEARCH

Davin Racing
IS
Racing For Cancer Research

“YOU HAVE CANCER “
THREE WORDS THAT CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND THOSE AROUND YOU

Davin Racing, Grand-Am Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 Daytona Prototype team with Driver Edd Davin has joined efforts with the American Cancer Society, to raise awareness and funding for cancer research, prevention, and treatment.

By now, many of you know our driver Edd Davin is a recent survivor of cancer. Edd was diagnosed with cancer underwent treatment and surgery. Edd has had a full and complete recovery and he is back behind the wheel of the racecar.

The three words “YOU HAVE CANCER “ have changed the lives of all of us at Davin Racing. We are thankful, that Edd’s situation has had a positive outcome, and we want to do more. Davin Racing working with our sponsors, fans, friends, and the American Cancer Society, is undertaking a program, to raise funding for cancer research, prevention, and treatment. In the short run, our goal is simple, we want more people to have the same success Edd had in overcoming cancer, and in the long run, we want to help find a cure for cancer. As a start, Davin Racing along with our sponsors will be contributing a portion of our race team sponsorship dollars to the ACS for cancer research, prevention, and treatment. Also, with the support of our sponsor Nitro Beverage Energy Drink, we will change the paint scheme of the racecar. The entire racecar will be painted in a black and white checkered flag layout. Individuals and companies can purchase each of the black and white squares on the racecar. We will place the names of the individuals or the company name in the squares. Each square sponsor will have the option to place the name of cancer patients or survivors of cancer or the name of loved ones who have been lost to cancer in the squares. The funds from the sale of these squares will be donated to the ACS in the name of the individuals. In

addition to having their names in the squares individuals will receive commemorative team t-shirts, hats, pictures of the racecar, and a participants card, which will provide access to the race team’s hospitality area at each race. The name of one contributor will be drawn prior to each race during the season and that individual will be an honorary pit crewmember with full credentials for the race weekend. Additionally, we will be displaying an 800-telephone number on the sides of our race car for spectators and the television audience to call and pledge donations to the ACS for each lap or mile our race car completes during each race throughout the 2008 racing season. In addition, with the help of Mr. Chris Green with the ACS, at each race on the schedule we will be visiting cancer patients in local hospitals, and having the honor of hosting other cancer patients at the racetrack. We hope in some small way our efforts will help brighten their day. Other activities will be planned throughout the season to bring awareness for more cancer research, prevention, and treatment.

In the future, we hope no one has to hear the words “YOU HAVE CANCER“.
